Objectives in education and research

The constantly increasing demand for high speed and high quality data transmission pushes research and development towards efficient and flexible transmission techniques for wired and wireless systems in the same way. Driven by that, the focus of the Communications Laboratory is mainly on the modern information and communications technology. Within numerous industry relevant research and development projects, the chairs belonging to the Communications Laboratory concentrate on the realisation of different communication systems including their analysis, modelling, and simulation as well as the implementation of prototypes.
